First Color concept spot illustration for my original comic book character, Sir Matthias, the Baseball Knight. Although the comic is black and white, it is important for me to design what this character would be like in color to transfer to value successfully. I was exploring a dual tone palette for his armor, but I would love to experiment with other colors as well.
